Your clients' people, apps and data left the office.
Their security is about to catch up.
Northbridge Managed SSE puts one checkpoint between every staff member and everything they use, wherever they are. Web, cloud apps, data, AI tools, private systems. Sold by you, on your quote.
Security that lives in the cloud, not in a box in the office.
Security Service Edge, in plain English. Three ideas, and the rest follows.
The full SSE stack, one managed service. Security Service Edge is a shift in how modern organisations protect users, data, and applications. Northbridge Managed SSE delivers the whole platform as a service, running on Netskope's NewEdge network: globally distributed, low latency, no performance trade-offs.
It sits between people and the internet.
Every website, cloud app and AI tool a staff member opens goes through a checkpoint first. It works the same at a desk, at home, on site or in an airport, because the checkpoint travels with the person, not the building.
One small agent. One set of rules.
A lightweight piece of software on each laptop and phone, one policy for the whole business, one place to manage it. No boxes to buy, patch or replace. Nothing for the client to run.
Checked close to the user, so nothing feels slow.
Traffic is inspected on a private network with more than 80 locations worldwide, including Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Security happens near the person, in a fraction of a second, so the client never notices it is there.
Twelve things the platform does. In plain English.
Priced per user. Every one of these runs through the same checkpoint, on the same agent, managed by Northbridge.
Next Generation Secure Web Gateway
Blocks dodgy sites, stops bad downloads and enforces what people are allowed to use. It can tell the difference between someone reading a file in Google Drive and someone downloading all of them.
TLS inspection
Almost all internet traffic is encrypted, which means most security tools cannot see inside it. This inspects it and seals it back up in a fraction of a second. Skip it and around 90% of traffic goes unchecked.
CASB Inline
Rather than allowing or banning something like Dropbox outright, this controls what people do once they are in it. Viewing yes, uploading no. It recognises more than 80,000 cloud services and rates how trustworthy each one is.
Threat Protection
Scans files and websites for malware, spots the fake login pages used to steal passwords, detects brand-new attacks nobody has seen before, and alerts if a staff password turns up in a breach.
Data Loss Prevention
Reads what is being uploaded or shared and steps in when it should not be leaving: card numbers, health records, customer lists, source code. More than 40 ready-made rule sets for common regulations, so nobody starts from a blank page.
User Behaviour Analytics
Learns what normal looks like for each person, then flags the odd stuff: 400 files downloaded at 2am, or logins from two countries an hour apart. This is how a stolen password gets caught.
Advanced Analytics
Ready-made dashboards for the board and the security team, covering what was blocked and why. No separate reporting project.
Digital Experience Management
When someone complains an app is slow, this shows where the problem actually is: their home wifi, the platform, or the app. It ends the finger-pointing.
GenAI Inline
Sees which AI tools staff are using, stops sensitive data going into prompts and uploads, tells a work account from a personal one, and coaches people toward the safe option in the moment. Runs inside the same checkpoint as everything above.
Cloud Firewall
Web and cloud apps are only part of the traffic. Offices and staff send plenty more: file transfers, remote desktop, printers, custom systems. This covers all of it and replaces the firewall boxes in each branch office with one set of rules in the cloud.
Enterprise Browser
Contractors, partners and staff on their own laptops install it themselves. Anything they do inside it is fully covered by the client's rules. Everything else on that computer stays private. Copy, paste, print, download and screenshots can all be blocked.
Private Access (ZTNA)
With a VPN, once someone is in they are on the network and can reach far more than they need. This connects a person to the one internal system they are allowed to use and nothing else. Nothing calls in from the internet, so there is no hole in the firewall to attack.
One line on the quote. A whole security stack behind it.
It sells to every client you have.
Anyone with staff outside one office, anyone moving to cloud, anyone whose people use AI tools. That is most of your base. There is no “wrong client” for this service.
It ends the refresh cycle.
No firewall boxes to quote every three years, no VPN concentrators to patch, no appliances in branch offices. One per-user line, billed monthly, that grows as the client grows.
It is the fastest step from MSP to MSSP.
You quote it, you bill it, you present the monthly report. Northbridge runs the platform, the policy, the tuning and the response behind you. Your client sees a managed security service on your invoice, not a rack of vendor logos.
Northbridge runs it. You own the relationship.
This isn't a licence resale. Northbridge's engineers handle the architecture, deployment, policy design, tuning, updates, monitoring, and incident response.
The security conversation every customer wants to have
Every business is wrestling with AI right now: boards asking about risk, staff already using the tools, nobody with visibility. That makes shadow AI the easiest security conversation an MSP has ever opened. Northbridge Managed SSE turns it into a recurring revenue line: no platform investment, no specialist hires, no operational burden. You walk in with the answer to the question they're already asking.
Every AI app your customers' people are already using, surfaced in weeks.
Policy that stops sensitive data leaking into AI tools without blocking productivity.
A packaged, fully managed service with Northbridge's name and track record behind it.
